From September 8 to October 20, 2025, customers can enter LOTTO MAX tickets purchased during the contest period for a chance to win the $1 million grand prize plus thirty (30) weekly $10,000 prizes each week over the 6-week contest. To earn entries into the contest, participants must enter LOTTO MAX tickets purchased in-store on this website or set up their PlayNow account to have eligible online purchases automatically entered on their behalf.

Step 1: Register or Sign In
First, you’ll need to register for a contest account. If you have previously participated in a BCLC online contest such as Tech the Halls or Crossword, simply sign in using the same email and password.

Step 2: Enter Your Tickets
To earn contest entries from tickets you purchased in-store from a lottery retailer, log in and scan your ticket(s) with your mobile device (preferred) or the webcam on your desktop computer.

To have your online tickets purchased on PlayNow automatically entered into the contest, follow the steps detailed here. Once you’ve completed those steps, eligible online purchases will be automatically entered on your behalf.

Earn one (1) contest entry for every $1 spent on LOTTO MAX (add-ons such as Extra not included). Each entry qualifies for the $1 million grand prize draw, plus the thirty (30) $10,000 weekly draws for the week in which your ticket is entered. For example, if you enter a ticket on September 8, 2025, it will be entered into the grand prize draw plus the thirty (30) draws of $10,000 from all entries collected between September 8, 2025, at 3:00:00 AM ET until Monday, September 15, 2025, at 2:59:59 AM EDT.

Step 3: Check Your Entries
Check your TICKET HISTORY to see your entries earned from in-store purchases for each weekly draw and for the grand prize draw. Entries earned from online purchases can be calculated on your PlayNow “Account History” page. If you still have questions about your total number of contest entries, please visit our support site.

Due to technical limitations, we are unfortunately not able to accurately display online ticket purchase totals on this website at this time. For online purchases on PlayNow, you can calculate your entries based on your LOTTO MAX ticket spend during the contest period under the “Account History” page when signed into your account. Only LOTTO MAX purchases made after entering the DREAMBIG promo code will count as entries toward the contest. 1. Make sure you are in a well-lit location
2. Turn up the brightness setting on your device
3. Ensure there are no folds, scratches or tears that may make the ticket unreadable
4. Ensure the ticket is laying flat and on a plain background. Your phone’s camera may have trouble scanning the code if it’s tilted at an angle
5. Make sure the entire barcode at the bottom of your ticket is visible to the camera
6. If you're holding the phone too close or too far away, it may not scan the ticket. Try holding the phone about a foot away and slowly moving it towards the barcode
7. If you are using your computer’s webcam, try logging in to this website with your mobile device and scan tickets with the camera on your mobile phone or tablet

LOTTO MAX tickets purchased between 3:00 AM ET (12:00 AM PT) on Monday, September 8, 2025, and 3:00 PM ET (12:00 PM PT) on Monday, October 20, 2025, are eligible for this contest. LOTTO MAX Free Plays and Replacement Tickets are not eligible.

No, to request an entry without the purchase of a LOTTO MAX ticket (NPN), you must complete the following steps:

1. Clearly print the words “LOTTO MAX DREAM BIG CONTEST” with the email address associated with your Dream Big Contest account, your first and last name, email, telephone number and complete mailing address (including postal code) along with a two hundred (200) or more word, unique and original handwritten essay on the subject “What I would do if I won one million dollars” on a plain white piece of paper and mail it (in an envelope marked “LOTTO MAX DREAM BIG CONTEST” with sufficient postage) to 74 West Seymour Street, Kamloops, BC, V2C 1E2.
2. Essays must be received by BCLC by October 14, 2025, in order to be processed before the contest closing date of 3:00 PM EDT (12:00 PM PT) on Monday, October 20, 2025.
3. Five (5) LOTTO MAX No Purchase Necessary (NPN) entries will be provided per posted request.
4. To be eligible, each request must: (i) be received separately in an envelope bearing sufficient postage; (ii) include all details noted in Section 1 above; and (iii) be post-marked during the Contest Period and be received no later than October 14, 2025 (to allow sufficient time for the contest administrator to assign the entries).
5. In the event that mail delivery is impacted by a labour disruption or strike impacting mail service at any time during the Event Entry Period, an alternative method of NPN entry will be made available. Participants must contact BCLC’s Customer Support Centre at 1-866-815-0222 to obtain the applicable instructions. Once implemented, such alternative method will remain available until close of business on October 14, 2025, regardless of whether regular mail service is restored prior to that date.

No. Only tickets purchased during the contest period (September 8 – October 20) are eligible. Eligibility is based on the purchase date, not the draw date.

Yes! You can win more than one of the $10,000 weekly draws if you enter during more than one weekly contest period. All entries are automatically entered into the $1,000,000 grand prize draw.

Winners of the weekly draws will be contacted within 5 business days of the draw. The first weekly draw will be held September 19, 2025, and the last weekly draw and $1,000,000 grand prize draw will be held October 24, 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter.

The contest administrator will attempt to notify each potential winning entrant by telephone or email. See the Official Contest Rules and Regulations for details.

Weekly and grand prize winners will be posted on the Winners Page on this website as each winning entry is confirmed.
